The report served as a wake-up call to the country about the growing incidence, cost, and burden of the disease, and it confirmed the need for expanded support for family and professional caregivers. At the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter, the report affirmed that we were on the right track in our efforts to expand services, increase financial resources, and create broader awareness.
