Ride your motorcycle or antique car in support of survivors of life-limiting illnesses!

“When I was on the bike, I forgot I was sick. I will never forget this.”

The ride is open to all motorcycles, classic and collectable car lovers. The ride will start at the Jefferson County Fair Park on Friday, August 22 at 6:15 p.m. The 40 mile ride is driven at a leisurely speed and takes about an hour. Upon returning to Jefferson, we will parade through town to the Jefferson County Fair Park where you will be greeted by an estimated 1,500 people.

Immediately following this entrance to the high school will be our Walk Fest Opening Ceremony.

Survivors of life-limiting illness will be invited to ride along with some of the drivers. Survivors will be matched appropriately with drivers and introduced to them at the start of the ride. Drivers who are riding with survivors will be asked to help us by finding a helmet and any other ‘gear’ necessary to make the ride safe and enjoyable for their buddy (ie: jacket, helmet, gloves, stocking cap, sunglasses, etc). Not all drivers will escort a survivor.

Ride Assembly: 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Pre-registration is strongly recommended
Cost: $20/rider, $25/couple
Ride Starting Time: 6:15 p.m.
Return to Jefferson High School: 7:15 p.m.

“The wind in your hair. Miles of open roadway. A brilliant Wisconsin summer day. The sound of a Harley-Davidson V-Twin rumbling in your ear. Tears start to form when a beaming survivor looks into your eyes.”

  • “It’s incredible to know people care enough about people to do something like this.”

Comments from our drivers:

  • “My fondest memory of the ride is riding on Highway 18 with bikers riding 2-by-2 in formation, stretching as far as the eye could see, rolling and rumbling down the road like a giant snake made of shiny chrome, black leather and blue jeans. It will be one of those memories of a lifetime.”
  • “This was a first for me, but it won’t be the last.”
  • “This is a fantastic way to give back.”

*With proper licensing and insurance certification, we can provide you with a Harley-Davidson to drive!
